The Shift to Net Zero summit is the flagship event of the Shift to Net Zero Phase 2 Pathfinders project and will take place in January and March 2025. The event has been generously funded by Innovate UK.
By bringing together key stakeholders to discuss diverse perspectives and provide actionable insights, the Shift to Net Zero summit aims to build the capacity of local authorities to originate investor-ready net zero projects.
During the morning session, attendees will hear from key note speaker Professor Michael Mainelli, Mayor, City of London as well as industry leaders on the role of private finance in reaching net zero, strategies for increasing the pace and scale of investment, and current approaches to local net zero investment.
In the afternoon, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a lunch and networking session followed by workshops on developing actionable plans tailored to local contexts.
