The Net Zero Finance Leadership Summit is the flagship event of ep group’s Shift to Net Zero Phase 2 Pathfinders project and took place 29 January 2025. The event was funded by Innovate UK.
By bringing together key stakeholders to discuss diverse perspectives and provide actionable insights, the aim of the Net Zero Finance Leadership Summit was to build the capacity of local authorities to originate investor-ready net zero projects.
Over the course of the day, attendees heard from keynote speaker Patrick Allcorn, Head of Local Energy at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, as well as industry leaders about the role of private finance in reaching net zero, strategies for increasing the pace and scale of investment, and current approaches to local net zero investment.
